This 100 miles section of The Road runs through yet another halfling country. The area is a pleasant mix of woods, streams, farms, villages, and a 40 mile long lake on the river Vemtis.
The halflings here are a bit rougher around the edges than their kin 550 miles away, but are still very hospitable and oriented toward comfort. They are also fine woodsfolk and hunters. Their preferred riding animals are a type of large goat.
These folk are master storytellers and will want to hear the traveler’s tales from The Road. They will repay these tales in beer and food.
