The Long & Winding Road
Part 61
Winzell
Three things to know about Winzell.
1: It is eerily quiet throughout the entire country, even though wildlife, including smaller monsters, abounds.
2: The people here all look like they are a couple of days dead. Pale, somewhat saggy skin, slender, cool to the touch, slow moving, soft spoken…they creep out most people. Only their lively eyes and ordinary voices let you know they are indeed alive.
3: These people are incredible potion masters, as well as makers of salves, balms, and other medicinal substances. Their prices are very reasonable, about 50% to 75% less than anywhere else.
The folk here live in 30 large stepped pyramids made of black stone. They do not allow outsiders inside, but do have very nice camping facilities just outside. They only come out after dark to sell their various goods.
The Road is 100 miles long here, and made up of a black glass that, while looking slippery, affords excellent traction.
