Mayrzin
For 190 miles, The Road runs alongside a river and long lake. The roadbed is now made of a substance not unlike asphalt, but multicolored. This is the country of Mayrzin. It is mostly hilly prairie with light woods near the river and lake. Mayrzin consists of 8 cities, all of whom have an “official color”. The people in these cities hate the people in the other cities, because of their color choices.
Mayrzin produces many items for trade, but each city must be dealt with individually. Outside the cities are the “Gray Inns”, which offer clean, if spartan, rooms and decent food.
There are no monsters or dangerous beasts here. Getting into a city totally depends upon how your color choices are accepted.
