Monsterwood
Just what is says on the tin. A huge, colorful, rather alien looking woodland with way more than the average number of monsters. WAY more. Monsters here can be as small as a cat to as large as a house. Thankfully, there are no dragons here.
The forest giants of the Giant Woods will tell you that these woods did not exist 200 years ago. The country of Oldengard was here, but something caused these weird woods to start appearing and rapidly spreading, along with hundreds of types of monsters. Legend says there is an evil tower in the center of the woods that brings the monsters here.
This is dangerous country and most of The Road offers no protection. Only the few Yellow Circles found at 20-30 mile intervals offer protection. Travelers will need to move fast along this 105 miles of gravel road.
