Exploring The Dungeon: The Split
You see that these two corridors are still the 12X12 size. The one to the left seems to slope down ever so slightly. The one on the right is level. Both are quite dark, so you’d better have torches or lanterns.
The corridor to the left is 150 feet long and drops about 2 feet at you walk down it. It has 5 doors on the right side. Two of the doors are locked and one of the unlocked ones is very badly damaged from fire.
Things that you might find in these rooms…
1: The burnt skeletons of humanoids and two very large lizards
2: A storage room with very little left in it
3: Lots of junk, some minor loot
4: A large red slime. It is very aggressive and hungry
5: Nothing except what might be a secret door left partially open
6: Water seeping from the ceiling, lots of mosses and algae
7: Big loot, but it’s cursed
The corridor to the left has only 3 doors, and only one is locked.
The two unlocked doors could lead to any of the following.
1: A large and badly deteriorated dining hall. There might be a bit of loot here.
2: The kitchen for the dining hall. Also in very bad shape.
3: A storage room with 15 dust covered and possibly rotten boxes and crates. Any treasure here is GMs choice.
4: Empty room. Maybe a few rats.
The locked door leads to a long hallway that also serves as a nest for about 20 Cannibal Halflings. They are asleep. They appear to be a bit on the thin side.
