Exploring The Dungeon: The Entrance
You are at the entrance to the Dungeon of Jal Goloda. The entrance is carved right in the side of a 150 foot tall cliff, about 30 feet up from ground level. A narrow trail leads up to it.
The entrance is 20 feet wide and 15 feet tall. It retains those dimensions until you reach the rear of it, about 50 feet back, where it narrows down to a roughly 12 by 12 tunnel. The main part of the entrance is open to the weather and nature. There were never any doors. Bats do roost in here, and it is apparent that trolls have been here, probably stopping over to get out of the weather.
The tunnel does have a door. It is made of stout wood, but has no lock. It is untrapped the hinges are rusty, so opening the door will create quite a loud noise. The tunnel itself slopes downward gently and is straight. It is around 80 feet long.
The tunnel ends at a T intersection.
