New Cryptids: Swampzilla
This new cryptid is based upon two separate sightings on the same day in Everglades National Park. For privacy reasons, the names of the observers have been redacted, but we do know that both sightings happened on April 7th, 2025, between 9:45 am and 12:10 pm, about 6 miles from each other. It was a warm, cloudless day.
In both cases, the observers saw a large bipedal creature resembling a dinosaur moving through the swamp at a rapid rate. It appeared to be at least 20 feet tall and while built like a T. Rex, was definitely not one. It had much larger front arms, a longer snout, and large hands with very long claws. It did not seem to notice the observers. Neither sighting lasted more than 20 seconds, and no pictures or videos were taken.
A search by air and boat was undertaken by the authorities, but no details of what they might have found have yet to be disclosed. Investigations by cryptologists are ongoing.
