The Alphabet Bestiary: V Is For…Vegetable Man

General Information: Somewhere around 1993, a lifepod crashed in the jungle while the badly damaged ship it came from plunged into our sun. The sole passenger of the pod was uninjured, but knew he would never return home. He also knew that the people of Earth would not welcome him with open arms, instead, they would capture him for study and to suppress any knowledge that extraterrestrials exist.
So Toosuu, for that was his name, hid the escape pod and went about making a home in the jungle. The environment suited him, and there was plenty to eat. It was, and still is a comfortable existence. Lonely at times, but not bad.
He looks like a somewhat lumpy human with moss for hair and a noseless face. He wears a smock made from plant fibers and animal skins. He eats both plants and animals.
Toosuu regularly returns to the lifepod to check for the possibility of other Galactic Citizens traveling nearby. So far, nothing. He also gets on the internet to learn about Earth and to find out what’s new. This only reinforces his decision to not interact with humans.
But…even a vegetable based lifeform from 300 light years away enjoys a bit of fun. This fun features him traveling about 250 miles south and getting seen by a human or two while he does things like walking through a field or running through the jungle or crossing a road at night. He does this every few months and later has quite a laugh while reading the various cryptid hunter websites or watching the short videos a few humans have taken.
