Seven Dungeons To Avoid: The Haunt Of Voklimalitox
“I owe you little folk my life, and it has been long and longer since a mountain giant has said that to any human, elf, or dwarf. You may always pass through these mountains safely. None shall harm you, lest they answer to me.
But having heard you speak of your quest, I must warn you against it. The ancient dragon Voklimalitox dwells in the Great Desert east of here, in her lair beneath the Iron Hills. That desert is home to scorpids, zolls, and sand ghouls. If you should reach the entrance to her lair, you will find that Voklimalitox has allowed lesser dragons and steeldrakes to live there. They worship her and will kill and devour you.
And even greater dangers await you in the 3 miles of tunnel that ends at her haunt. Of course, the Great Wyrm herself is more dangerous than all the rest put together. You will die the moment you get close enough to see her.
So again, I warn you not to go, although I know that you small folk are equal parts bravery and stupidity.
