Odd Jewelry: The Warm Necklace
Now we come to Lot 14, which could not look more ordinary, yet is in fact most extraordinary. Looking at it, one sees an ordinary silver necklace composed of three interwoven strands of fine links. The clasp is quite simple. Truly nothing unique about it.
Except for the fact that this necklace is always warm to the touch. As those of you who handled it after picking it up off the cold plate can attest. How can this be possible? We have no idea and the scientists who have studied it are stumped.
