…no clue what scared ’em
The Doclopedia #3,402
Little Monsters: Dungeon Pigs
Name: Dungeon Pigs
Size: Small, 18 inches long, 15-20 pounds
Environment: Upper levels of dungeons
Notes: They are walking repositories of bad luck.
The woe of any dungeon delver, these brightly colored little pigs are simply one of the most luck destroying creatures in the world. Just one of themcoming near a party of delvers means that things are going to go wonky. A group of them is a prelude to a major disaster.
Dungeon pigs don’t seem to be actively evil, or even attracted to humanoids. They just wander about the upper levels of dungeons during the day, eating dungeon moss and bits of recently dead creatures. They are seldom found below the second level and it does not appear that creatures in the dungeon eat them, although many predators outside the dungeon do.
Attempts by dungeon delvers to kill these bad luck porkers are always doomed to fail, sometimes in great and deadly ways.
