Places Along The Winding Road: Grungar
Nobody knows for sure how long the Great Winding Road is, but a good guess might be 25,000 miles, since it is known to wind across the continent from north to south and east to west several times.The following entries were compiled by Serafina of the Moon Trees and the well known traveler, Tolfor Wanderfoot. There are, no doubt, several thousand more places out there.
Grungar is the home of a type of pig people, the Grundini. It is not known if they began as pigs that were raised up magically to sapience and a humanoid body, or if they were humans cursed to be swinelike. Their oldest legends could be taken either way.
Regardless of their origins, the Grundini are a cheerful folk who are always ready to extend hospitality to strangers. Their society is an agricultural one, with some timber industry and boat construction on the River Burun that forms their western border.
Grungar is a land of very gently rolling hills dotted with small to medium sized forests of varied hardwoods. The mana level everywhere is Low, so there are few mages.
