Places You Forget: Tower Rock

Now we come to Tower Rock, which at least 17 members of this very audience have seen, and in 5 cases, climbed. Half a mile tall, 800 feet across at the top, incredible view of the Skronuk Badlands…this is all verified.
But nobody remembers where it is in the Badlands. It just seems tobe there, in the distance, when you come out of a canyon or from around a hill or whatever. It’s right there, looking natural as can be. You can go touch it, climb it, fly to the top if your spells allow…it’s real. We have stone samples from it.
But as soon as it is out of sight, you’ll forget exactly where it was. To the south? The west? Over those hills? All attempts to go find it are doomed to failure, and stand an excellent chance of getting you lost in the Badlands. Even the attempt of my esteemed colleague , Wizard Samzar, to place a Ward Of Locating on it failed. Considering that is a 4th Circle spell, it means that Tower Rock must have some powerful protection versus being found too often.
The Dukuri people, who have lived in the Badlands for 2,500 years, say that Tower Rock is protected by their gods. If this is true, then good luck re-finding it.
