Doc Update #33 1/3
1: Going thru playtesters comments on the Pro Writing Job. Will commence the minor rewriting and corrections next weekend.
2: Have come to the conclusion that watching people playing poker on tv is even MORE boring than watching bowling on tv.
3: Once again this Thanksgiving, Grace and I will have our UnTurkey day dinner for just the two of us (since we have no guests coming and no dog). As I’ve said in recent entries, this UnT Day is all about Seafood Curry and Rice, with something yummy for afters. This is one of the family traditions (like having no plates/cups/bowls that match) that we started when we got married. However, this year we do want to eat a turkey dinner, so we are starting a new tradition: The Week Before Xmas Turkey Dinner.
4: Speaking of Xmas, since we have pretty much abandoned the big Holidays, we are thinking of starting a new Holiday, most likely just for us. Thinking on this is ongoing. Of course, we could go with Festivus, which has much going for it. Hmmmmm.
5: We will be going to see “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” next Thursday night, in an attempt to avoid the gaggles of screaming kids and halfwitted cellphone/baby toting adults.
6: Tomorrow, My Sweet Little Cinnamon Bun Of Cuteness and I will FINALLY, after many cancellations/postponements, go on a drive up thru the northern end of the Great Valley to look at country property. The weather is supposed to be sunny and mild (as it has been all week), so it should be a fun drive. With any luck, we will find the ideal area to build Hobbit House.
