WWMND? What Would Mr. Natural Do?

…I mean, besides annoy Flakey Foont?

A big NO-PRIZE to any of you who can identify those thwo characters:)

I overslept by an hour today, so I’m a bit rushed. Normally, I like to wake up 3 hours before I need to be at work. Today, I only got 2 hours.

Supernatural had its season finale last night and it was pretty good. The ending was a cliffhanger, natch, but had the advantage of being a surprise. It will be interesting to see what happens on next seasons premiere.

Ok, so my blog has been pretty gardening/gaming heavy lately. I’ll try to throw a few more subjects into the mix. Hmmm…maybe some travel thoughts or something to do with cooking.

Hey, here’s one…What Do Doc & Grace Regularly Watch On TV? In no particular order…

Bones
All three of the CSI shows
The Unit
Supernatural
Criminal Minds
Numb3rs
Doctor Who
Gardening By The Yard
Iron Chef America
Good Eats
Food 911
Molto Mario
$40 A Day
30 Minute Meals
Barkitecture
The Dog Whisperer
Fresh From The Garden
Fresh From The Orchard
This Old House Hour
Storm Stories
The Most Extreme
Survivorman
Nature
Austin City Limits

You’ll note no reality shows or sitcoms. That would be because they pretty much all suck ass. You’ll also note very few Sci-Fi or Fantasy series. That’s because we just haven’t gotten into most of them. Maybe we’ll give them a look on DVD.

Gotta go to work…blog ya later.

  1. Heh, the only one on your list that I watch is Doctor Who. The others, I never watch, not even if I catch them just flipping around. But at least Dr. Who I TiVo and watch regularly. :) I tend to NOT watch many non-fiction programs.
Bones, Supernatural and Numb#rs all seem like shows I could potentially get in to, but just haven’t bothered.
My live-in boyfriend watches at least a couple of the shows on your list: the other night he had on Survivorman (btw, doesn’t that qualify a reality show?) He also watches a few cooking prgrams (especially Rachel Ray, he’s totally in love with her, heh). Myself, cooking shows either bore me or just make me hungry and guilty-feeling (internal dialogue during cooking shows: “I should cook more, and stop wasting money eating out. But that looks fattening. No, I should start just start cooking healthier. I really need to go on a diet. Sigh, and exercise….”).

    1. Survivor man both is and isn’t reality TV. It is a reality show, but since it only has one character and no big prize at the end AND no whiney bitchy idiotic interpersonal hijinx, it’s not really “Reality TV”.
And yes, Rachel Ray is a total little hottie.

  2. I’ve seen a single show on your list; Dr. Who.
I’ve heard of perhaps only a few others; Iron Chef, Austin City Limits and CSI. I have NO IDEA about the other shows you watch.
The only thing that gets by myself on TV with any regularity is The Daily Show perhaps 3 nights a week, and perhaps half of the occasional episode of The Colbert Report. Maybe a half hour or so of the news on TV (I mostly listen to the radio or read things online).
    ::B::
PS Mind you, the TV is pretty well locked to only one channel, Treehouse TV, a cable network for toddlers. While I try not to watch it, I can’t help but catch snippits of Barney, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, Dora the Explorer, and other similar children’s ilk.
