Very relaxed day today. Some Civ III, some gardening, some dog wrasslin’, some wife smooching…all most pleasant.
Watched the series finale of The Dresden Files. Very good episode and I hope the show gets picked up for next season.
And now, replacing the Fantasy World Building Poll, it’s the Pulp Character Creation Poll! We’ll start from just a name and build a character from the ground up. Could be a pulp hero, a sidekick, a team member…heck, even a villain. Let the fun begin!

I hope about half of those are women. There are rarely enough good female characters in RPG worlds.
Several are definitely femal and a couple of others could be. Never fear, I shall not overlook the pulp possibilities of the fair sex.
In fact, the vote leader so far is female.
Winker Wilks isn’t going to be a “Woozy Winks” rip-off, is he?
A: Since the character has not been created yet, how would I know?
B: What makes you think Winker is a “he”?
It’s a good thing there’s a clear preference going on here…

So far, the clearest preference seems to be for Violet LaFlamme. As for what type of pulp character she might become, well, that’s the beauty of democracy:)
