…fortunately, no coyotes were harmed
Stuff
1: The man in the dress and pointy hat…err, I mean the pope…is visiting the USA this week. While this is of no importance to me, I know several recovered/recovering Catholics (including my wife) that have nothing good to say about it. Apparently, comedian Bill Maher pissed off a bunch of people by comparing the pope to the child molesting nutcases at that polygamist compound in Texas. Now, I don’t think that’s fair. See, those headcases in Texas only molest young girls.
2: Our president has proclaimed that we need to do something about global climate change, but not too much too soon. Of course, all of this new found concern about the environment comes after 7+ years of Bush and his thugs doing their best to destroy it. Fucking miserable right wing conservative scumbags.
3: There was an earthquake centered in southern Illinois last night. Fortunately, it didn’t kill anyone, but unfortunately, it occured too early in the morning for most people to enjoy it. Too bad, because small to medium quakes can be lots of fun.
4: I have had 7 or 8 people ask me if I’m nervous about getting my hand operated on next Wednesday. The answer is, no, not at all. First off, it’s just a bit of outpatient surgery. Secondly, it’s only my hand, not something complex and life controlling like a brain or heart or liver or penis. Thirdly, after nearly 30 years of discomfort and pain, I’m ready for any surgery that can fix the problem.
