Had 45 number one hits
Did the rockin’ theme songs for two James Bond movies
Kept Janis Joplin from having her fatal drug overdose, then helped her stay clean for another 40 years.
Created the entire “concept album” idea
Won 22 Grammy awards
Promoted punk music in the USA
Bought both Fillmores and never let them close down.
Broke the backs of the recording industry and started the first record company that treated artists fairly.
Played at 4 presidential inaugurations (R. Kennedy, Jerry Brown, T. Kennedy & Bill Clinton).
Had sex with lots and lots of groupies, starlets and other females.
Was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Jazz Hall of Fame…all within 5 years.
Produced several movies.
Fathered 9 children by 4 wives.
Lived to be 103 years old and died playing the piano.
