Six Rumors I Heard…: In The Castle

1: Did you hear? The King and Queen had quite the row last night and now he is going off to his hunting lodge for a week, no doubt to practice his bum kissing for when he returns.

2: Aye, that’s Sir Charles over there. They say he once jumped off the highest tower onto the back of a Welsh Green Dragon that was attacking. Killed it, too. Not sure if he’s mad, brave or both.

3: Now, you did not hear this from me, sisters, but it is said by those who know that perhaps Lord Steele is not so steely where he should be.

4: Rumor has it that the King is having guests for the banquet tomorrow. Humans and dwarves! It’s scandalous, if you ask me.

5: I just heard from Lady Nell that the Princess has run off again. The King and Queen are beyond angry and have sent out 100 men to look for her. Last time, she ran with pirates for a year. Who knows what she’s up to this time.

6: The Master is apparently going to attempt the Summon Dragon spell again tonight. Anyone not assigned to the upper floors should seek refuge in the sub-basement.

1: I heard that the Captain and the Chief got drunk last night, so they’re going to try for Warp 10 later today.

2: Word’s going around that we’ll have new ServiceBots on board by next week. I hope they included the Self Repair Package this time.

3: I’m not saying there’s going to be a high stakes poker game in tool room Delta, but you never know.

4: Shore leave coming up tomorrow, baby! I heard a rumor that the Alfeyans are having a pastry festival in Forla City.

5: There’s a rumor going around that we’ll be in Beta Sector in a couple of days. I don’t believe it. They’d have to be crazy to go there.

6: I haven’t seen it myself, but several folks swear that they’ve seen the ghost of Lt. Belonza in Service Tube 4.
