The Alphabet, Female Name Edition: Wixtella

On Earth 888-O, one of the Fantasy Earths, Wixtella Breadloaf is a halfling adventurer. As you might imagine, this marks her as quite the strange person in her homeland.

Descended from a long line of bakers, Wixi was always the rebel child. When her siblings were learning how to make perfect sticky buns, she was exploring the local woods. While her parents were selling fresh bread, she was practicing sneaking up on local livestock. Once she came of age, she saw all of her friends and siblings getting married, so she packed up her kit and set out for the nearest city.

Now 40 years old, Wixi has a couple of decades of killing monsters and taking their stuff under her belt. When she goes back home on visits, her tails delight the children and make the elders shake their heads. Wixi finds this quite amusing.

Wixtella is 3 feet tall, has curly auburn hair, brown eyes and a small scar on the end of her nose. She tells people it was done by a goblin sword, but it was actually done by a small tree branch.

The Alphabet, Female Name Edition: Xaphenie

Earth 57-E is a “near apocalypse” world. This pretty much means things went to shit, but neither humanity or the ecosystem were totally destroyed. Badly fucked up on both counts, but recovering. Well, the ecosystem is recovering. The jury is still out on humanity.

Xaphenie Queen was born in what little was left of Miami after the superhurricanes and food riots were done with it. Long after, as in 90 years after. By then, there was not much left of the city and the rising sea levels were driving people like her parents out.

Xaph grew up in a traveling wagon train that was supposed to make it’s way up to Virginia, but took15 years and some huge detours to get there. By that time, her mother was dying of something and her dad was just mentally shutting down. Xaph stuck around for another year, by which time they were both dead.

With nothing better to do, she and her dog, Big, and her best friend, Ishki, decided to start heading west. They didn’t know what was out there, but they wanted to see it.

At the present time, they have made it as far as what used to be eastern Oklahoma. Along the way, they picked up two more dogs, Weffy & Snort, and two new friends, the twin ladies Rinda & Plum. They have had many adventures and seen many strange and unusual things. Lately, their topic of conversation has been what they will do when they reach the Rocky Mountains.
