People: Reuben
On Earth 7-K, where sapient non-human Terrans have been known about since 1957, one of the most well known NHT in San Diego, California, is Reuben Hoover, a pig.
As of the current date, June, 2025, Rueben is 27 years old. He is a black & white Vietnamese potbellied pig, single, and a graduate of San Diego State University. He holds one PhD in Engineering and another in Physics.
Reuben is the middle child of seven and a 10th generation Californian. He enjoys surfing, skateboarding, old movies, and surf music. He works for the State of California inspecting and approving NHT specific construction, mostly homes. He has two pet rats named Jan & Dean.
Reuben is active in city and county affairs, being a member of the County Fair Board of Directors and the City of San Diego Events council. He is considering a run for City Council.
