Things: The Pool Of The Maiden/El Estanque De La Doncella
In a small park about 4 miles from the Haunted Graveyard, there is a beautiful little pond. In the center of the pond, there is a statue of a young woman, standing and crying, but being comforted by the Virgin Mary.
This is the Pool of the Maiden, built by a wealthy man in 1887 to honor his 15 year old daughter, who was killed by a jealous suitor. For decades, women and girls have come here to pray for help. With the arrival of the Ghost Women, their prayers are getting answered.
The Ghost Women have installed several very sensitive microphones in the area around the pool. These pick up the prayers and conversations and record them. Back at their HQ, the ghost women listen to them and help out as they are able. This can range from monetary assistance, to convincing a man to leave a woman alone, to terrorizing men so badly they confess to any crime that will get them locked up. A few times, answering prayers has lead to very evil men being found hanged in a public place late at night.
