Facts About Potions: Ingredients
Of course, where common ingredients are concerned, you will most likely either buy them, grow/raise them yourself, or gather them from the wild. If the latter two, you are assured of freshness and potency. If, however, you are buying them, make certain that you buy only from Guild certified sellers or other Guild members of good repute.
Rarer ingredients are also sometimes available from some sellers, but in many cases, you will have to hire a group from the Adventurer’s League to go and find the ingredients. This can be costly and time consuming, but it is also infinitely better for your continued living. And remember, the League will reimburse you 90% for any failed mission.
Regardless of rarity or commonality, all ingredients must be stored properly and, if perishable, used as soon as possible to insure proper strength.
