Ordinary Folks: Helen Madosino
Helen and her husband, Vito, Own and operate the Villa Roma restaurant on Main Street. Vito does the cooking and Helen runs the business. They’re both in their early 40’s now, with 4 kids from 9 to 16. They live over on the west side of town, near the golf course.
Helen is a good looking woman, although a bit on the thin side. That’s probably because of the 4 kids and running a restaurant. She has just a light sprinkling of gray in her dark hair. Her eyes are a lighter brown than normal. Helen tends to dress nicely when working, but goes with jeans and a plaid shirt at home. She’s an avid rose gardener, with 53 different varieties in her garden so far.
Helen is on the board of 4 committees in town. She is also a member of the Women’s Wednesday Club and the Catholic Lady’s League. As a result of all this, plus running a popular eatery, Helen is privy to a whole lot of gossip, much of which is true.
