Ordinary Folks: Pete Samkar
Pete owns and operates the A1 Body Shop over on Airport Road. He came here 25 years ago from Turkey with his wife, a couple of kids, and assorted family members. The whole family is hard working and usually busy with a dozen other things.
Pete is a big guy, 6’3” tall and 225 pounds, mostly muscle. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a big moustache that’s his pride and joy. He’s a good looking guy. He’s married to Jenna. They have 6 children, all but one of which have left home. His mother in law lives with them.
A big fan of baseball, Pete is a loyal supporter of the local AA team, the Stars. He can be found at all their home games. He’s also an amateur race car driver and competes in races at the local flat track, where he drives a 1963 Chevy, #33. He usually places in the top 3 of each race.
