How To Build A Robot Army
First off, I give Dr. Angelo Crimari (Class of 1974, Frankenstein Academy) top marks for stating right up front that building a robot army is not cheap. (Average cost for a 500 unit army is 25 million dollars. Holy crap!) Too many young Mad Scientists go broke before they even have a platoon finished. (Mind you, a platoon would be just fine for robbing banks or destroying a small town.) Crimari lays out all of the financial pitfalls.
But then, he tells you several possible ways around them (Three of which involve you buying more of his books, including “Robot Mastery” and “I Married A Robot”), as well as some robot building tips for those on a budget. (Who knew about recycling appliances into robots?) His idea that a silent robot army is scarier than one that can speak makes sense! (The same idea applies to pets and small children.)
I very much recommend this book to any young Mad Scientist interested in robotics.
