Made somewhere in Africa around 1903, this bandana has the power to let me dream of my African ancestors. The thing is, I’m pretty much descended from Northern European and Portuguese/Spanish stock, so the most recent ancestor I dream of is a Berber woman from what is now Portugal. She lived from 809 to 853 AD. To be honest, her life was pretty boring. Keep house, raise kids, tend goats, that sort of thing. Still, it beats dreaming about much of the other shit I have dreams filled with.
