Legendary Snakes: The Butt Snake
It should come as no surprise that as reports of pet snakes escaping and coming up through toilets were published in newspapers and covered on other media, that an urban legend would arise. And it has.
Although details vary widely from city to city, and even from neighborhood to neighborhood, they all agree that the Butt Snake is some sort of albino mutant that lives in sewers, but comes up through the pipes to attack people as the sit on the john. Some variations say it is venomous and that people die rapidly from a single bite. Others say it is not venomous, but likes to attack dangling scrotums. Still other legends say that it will crawl up your ass to lay eggs inside you. Unsurprisingly, the origins of the legend have been traced to high schools in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
