The Dreaming Road
This 110 mile long, twisty and rambling, part of The Road is very weird and potentially deadly. The surface varies frequently.
This highly enchanted pathway is wide, but almost immediately puts most intelligent humanoid beings into a dreamlike state, during which they lose track of time. They will also see, hear, and even smell all manner of things.
Fortunately, horses and other domestcated animals are unaffected by this magic, and will even do what they can to protect the travelers. Wildlife is also unaffected. Monsters and dangerous beasts avoid the area. Nobody lives here.
