The River Folk
This 100 mile portion of The Road runs alongside a river for most of it’s length. It is smooth gravel. The main northern portion is throught the forest of tall trees, but by the halfway point, the trees are a more normal height.
There are many people living along this river, most of them elves. They are a friedly lot, and are more than willing to sell or trade for food, lodging, and supplies. They might also have horses for sale.
Monsters are few here, but bears, forest tigers, giant spiders, and other creatures are fairly common.
