The Vineyards
Think France, Italy, Spain, Napa Valley, all of our winemaking regions, only sharing borders. Each section of it is very competitive with all the others. A pretty fun area to travel through. Incredible food and great entertainment. Near constant festivals.
Each region has a medium sized city and many towns & villages.
No monsters and little wildlife larger than a small deer. Bandits are very rare, but there are thieves and pickpockets in the cities.
This part of The Road is 200 miles long and has hill country to the east and valley flatlands to the west. The roadbed is still smooth gravel.
