The Long & Winding Road
Part 79
Duckfolk
Three foot tall humanoid ducks, built along the lines of Daffy or Donald, live here. They are, however, nowhere near as screwy as the former or as short tempered as the latter. They are cunning merchants, surprisingly good cooks, skilled lumberjacks, amazing aquatic farmers, and talented musicians.
These folk do have some homes on dry land and near the many canals, but most live out on floating towns that dot the huge Northern Lake. They welcome visitors and traders, but do drive a hard bargain.
As one might expect, The Road here runs either alongside or over the lake for 110 miles. It is made of wooden planks.
