Dogfolk
The Road, now made of red gravel, runs 130 winding miles through this land. Most of that is through lightly forested hills. There are no monsters or large beasts here, and the few robbers are not much of a threat.
Many different breeds of humanoid dogs live in this land, with each having the traits of their breed. They like humanoids very much and extend great hospitality to them. While perhaps not as sophisticated as other civilizations, they still have abundant wares to sell, very good food, and helpful information.
One thing travelers should be aware of is that the dogfolk do not make or consume alcoholic beverages. They will, however, have shops where, for a small fee, you can roll in dead animals or assorted grasses.
