Land Of The Mad Witch
This madwoman loves to give limited intelligence and animation to non-living things like toys, tables, pots, pans, whatever. They are kind and gentle creatures, but the witch treats them cruelly, then gets bored with them after a few days and turns them out into the wild. They would not mind if she died, but they cannot offer direct help.
The witch lives in a large wooden house just off The Road and beside a creek. She has three insane goblins that go to other lands and steal things for her to animate. They are vicious fighters, but easily distracted.
This land is forests and fields. There is abundant wildlife here, including some large beasts. Very few monsters with any intelligence come here. They fear the witch.
The Road is 90 miles long and made of common gravel.
