Ok, so it’s the year 2000 and our intrepid FBI agents (and odds are most games would have more than just two), deal with a different kind of X Files. In this variation, they are sent through time to investigate the
great paranormal mysteries of the ages. What did explode over Tunguska? Our Heroes will be there (but not TOO close to there) to investigate. What happened to the lost Roanoke colony? They’ll videotape the disappearance. Nessie? Roswell? Spontaneous Human Combustion? Atlantis? Mokole Mbembe? Yeti? The FBI is on the job!
But wait! Both you and your players AND their characters might think that this sort of thing is not normally FBI stuff. And it doesn’t really seem like X Files stuff, since all they do is gather info and leave. And just what is being done with the data the agents gather? And how the hell did the US government get
time travel technology? How and why indeed:) Just remember to leave a few cigarette butts scattered throughout history for the agents to find:)
