Chapter Two: In The Museum
“Come and walk with me, Seyan”, said the Grand High Curator to the young Trainee. “ I would like to discuss with you a matter of some importance to your future.”
Seyan immediately stopped transcribing her notes from the last meeting of the Supply Group and began following the old man down the hall towards the Open Exhibition. What could the Grand High Curator want with her? She was a mere Second Class Trainee, barely sixteen years old and so far stuck in the Transcriber Group. Perhaps he would offer Seyan a chance to work in the Preservation Group, or even the Reproduction Group. Oh my, wouldn’t that be great? To actually work with relics, instead of transcribing boring notes from the boring meetings of, for the most part, boring Curators.
