Seyan stepped through the door into the Grand Hallway, that two mile long thoroughfare that was the center and heart of the Museum of North America. The arched ceiling was ninety feet above her and the walls were one hundred feet apart. There were eight levels above this floor, with walkways along the walls and dozens of bridges spanning one side or one level to another. Hundreds of Museum personnel were bustling about, heading from one place to another. There were hundreds of doors and crossing hallways and Seyan knew from personal experience that it was very easy to get lost. She had once spent the better part of two hours trying to find the Ink Formulation room. Thank goodness for the Security Corps and their seemingly endless knowledge of Museum layout.
