When they finally reached their destination, it was something of a letdown for Seyan. There were no grand displays of anything Ancient, because it was simply a room about 20 feet across with a bed, desk, a couple of chairs and a small footlocker. There was a small bathroom off to one side. In fact, aside from being twice as roomy and having a private john, it looked very much like her room back in the Museum. Well, except for the window. The museum had no windows, so if you wanted sunlight, you had to make the trek outside. But this room had a window about two feet square that faced south and looked out over the Great Canyon. It was a spectacular view and she guessed that nobody would ever know this window was here unless a light shone out of it at night.
