Doc Update
No really big plans for the upcoming weekend (aside from the ongoing gardening), altho Grace and I might go to SPCA Doggy Dash on Saturday. It will be nice to hang out with some pooches for awhile.
I’m getting towards the midpoint on setting up the next section of the World Building Game. I’ll do a posting all about it soon, as well as put out a call for a few more players. I’m thinking I can go as high as 6 players, so that will mean I need to find three new players.
The garden is truckin’ right along. Man, are we gonna have some veggies to eat this summer/fall/winter. We may even decide to buy a small chest freezer to hold frozen veggies and meat bought in bulk. I also need to get busy building a drying unit and a smoker (cos I loves me some smoked chiles and smoked sun dried tomatoes). My flowers are doing very well this year, with color all over the place and more coming in the form of zinnias, cosmos and sunflowers.
Healthwise, we are doing ok. Grace is swimming every day, but I’m having a bitch of a time getting back on my walking routine. I’m thinking I’ll get jumpstarted by having Grace drive me a couple of miles from home each night and dump me off to walk back. After a week of that, I should be back into the routine.
Gotta go to work. More bloggage later.
