At least, that’s my take on it based upon anecdotal evidence:)
Stuff…just like your mom used to make
1: GenCon prereg starts this Sunday. Unless they have REALLY goosed up their bandwith/computing power, I fully expect their computers to crash early in the day.
2: Dundracon starts a week from tomorrow. I’m beginning to feel the first twinges of geeky antici……………………………..pation.
3: Our dogs have nicknames. Daisy, who is generally aloof, refined and a bit spoiled, is “Princess Daisy”. Winker, who is puppylike, goofy and full of energy is “Winker the Stinker”.
4: I am slowly working through the blockages that have stopped my recent pro writing attempts. I will chain myself to the word processor soon and see what comes of it.

They may have dealt with the potential computer overload by advancing the hotel reg deadline until noon (Eastern) on Monday (9 Pacific time). The idea is reg on Sunday, get an email with the hotel “key number” and reserve the hotel on Monday.
