…and D8’s are even worse
It has been pointed out that I neglected to specify what breed/size of dog Lucky, Hawk Hawkins best friend, is. Well, Lucky is an All American Mutt. While there is definitely some terrier in his background, there are also indications of Basset or Beagle, Retriever, Border Collie and perhaps a touch of Poodle. Lucky is a medium sized dog, weighing in at about 60 pounds. His coat is black, medium length and rough. He has floppy ears, but they are not super long like those of a hound.
Lucky got his name by surviving several life endangering adventures early on (his original name was Scruffy). He has a slightly gimpy left rear leg, a bullet hole in his right ear, a scar next to his right eye and a grey streak of fur along his left side where a wound from a tiger’s claw healed.
And now, I must deal with one of my hounds (Daisy), while her sister is at the vet’s office with the Mom Unit.
