We shall be off to day one of the ASPCA book sale soon…The Girls are not going to be happy about us taking off for hours on a Saturday morning…After book sale, errands must be run…After errands, veggie garden will get the finishing touches…Should do some writing tonight, especially character creation for the upcoming Modern Weird Shit series…Not sure what to cook for dinner, but something of a pork nature sounds good.

What books did you surprise your two dogs with?

Well, despite the fact that Daisy’s preferred reading tends towards romantic fantasy and Winker tends to like young adult adventures, we bought books on emergency medical care for dogs, travelling with your pets and training dogs.
I also bought several gardening books and a small book describing where many California place names come from.
Grace bought 4-5 fantasy & sci fi paperbacks.
