  1. FWIW, Doc, I highly recommend the first two seasons of Veronica Mars (the third season is kind of weak, unfortunately), as well as all of West Wing. Babylon 5 and Deep Space 9 actually have stronger later seasons (3 and 4 for B5, 4, 5, and 6 for DS9), IMHO, worth sitting through the initial stuff or even skipping ahead.
