Dragons I Have Known: Saphina

Saphina was a cute little Pink Dragon, barely 20 feet long and gracefully built. He wings looked very much like stained glass. She was funny and smart and very sweet natured.

Saphina’s lair was in one of the giant oak trees in the Old Southern Forest of Gwyneetha. It was actually quite a cozy and comfy place Her hoard was almost entirely jewels and jewelry.

When she was a mere 130 years old, Saphina got the chance to change into an Elven girl and did. She then gathered up a couple of sacks of jewels and said goodbye to her Pink Dragon friends. That was 20 years ago and nobody knows what happened to her, but I hope she is enjoying life.

Dragons I Have Known: Morris

.

Morris had one of the sweetest rackets I’ve ever seen. He was a big fellow, even for an Orange Dragon, measuring just over 200 feet long and with a 300 foot wingspan. He was probably the biggest dragon in the world.

The racket that Morris had going was to be the official dragon on the Caverns of M’gok Sar. These caverns were huge and ran for miles underground. They were inhabited by hundreds of deadly creatures and 5 humanoid races. They all feared Morris.

The first half of his racket was him collecting yearly tribute from the races and intelligent monsters living in the caverns. Twice a year, they would bring him a few cartloads of loot. He didn’t need to lift a finger.

The second part of the racket came when the eventual party of dungeon dwellers ran into his lair to escape pursuing monsters. They’d take one look at Morris and shit themselves. He would tell them in his best scary dragon voice to leave all of their treasure and go out his back way tunnel, because he was feeling merciful that day. He got loot like that 4 or 5 times a year. As far as I know, he never had to kill anyone.
