These skills, along with his degree in Computer Science, allow the 27 year old to learn all sorts of things about the Tech Lords of Silicon Valley.
Currently, Cal is looking into an interesting theory about just how Elmont Dean is able to choose such winning companies to invest in, sometimes before the company founders are even sure about what they are doing.

Linked Characters: Florence Michaels
.
Seventeen years ago, Florence knew Elmont and Olin in college. Back then, Florence Michaels was known as Michael Fulton, and she knew that Olin had stumbled onto something that was helping Elmont choose the right start-ups to become very wealthy. She wasn’t sure what it was, but she had and still has some ideas.
After college, she moved out of state and began her transition to a female body. She also started a career as a tech writer and advisor to various non-tech companies. But each time Elmont backed a new business, her curiosity grew.
So it was that she came back to California and set up shop in San Francisco. Not long after that, she went to Cindy Kniff with her request. She is hoping to get enough information to confirm her suspicions that Olin & Elmont are getting messages from the future.
