Out In The Woods: You’ll Come To A Cabin
Y’all stay away from that cabin, ya hear? That’s where Talkis Toron lived, and where he ate all them people he killed. 14 of ’em, it was. Maybe more than that, nobody knows for sure. When the King’s Best found him, he was gnawing on an arm what come off an elf. They say he fought like some mad beast until finally they killed him.
So you just remember all that when you ride past the trail leading to that cabin. Evil like his often don’t die when the body does. His spirit might just be up there, waitin’ for some fools to show up and start messin’ around.
And then there’s the spirits of all the people he killed. They’re probably up there, too, just a’waitin for the living to come visit. Maybe they ain’t evil, but you can bet they ain’t sane anymore, and mad ghosts are nothin’ you want to run into way out in them woods.
So you folks just ride past that trail, and keep on ridin’ until ya get to Little Lake. That’s a nicer place to stop anyway.
