Now, you gotta promise us that you won’t tell our parents about what we tell you, okay? Okay, so, me and Snug and Barry and Moe here were out in the woods one day when we saw the squirrels.
Yes, sir, big ones, just like that picture, only all white. Oh, what do you think, fellas, were they as big as Homer? Okay, so yeah, they were as big as my dog here, and Homer weighs about 45 pounds.
Oh, yeah, they were running around in the big oaks and pines, just like regular squirrels do, eating acorns and stuff. There were 5 or 6 of them. No, sir, they didn’t seem to mind us. They looked at us for a minute when we first got there, then just went back to doing what they were doing.
Yes, sir, I know we’re not supposed to go out there. All our parent’s tell us to not do it or the government will stop sending them money every year to not talk about what happened before. Is it true? Did a flying saucer really land out there in ’54?
Aw, you can tell us. We’re telling you about the squirrels. It did? Holy Cow! Did you hear that, guys? A flying saucer did land! Wow!
Oh no, sir, we won’t ever talk about it, Scout’s honor! If you want us to take you to where the squirrels live, we can do it tomorrow morning, since it’s Saturday. Okay! Just meet us over by the old barn there, around 9:00.
