Ruins Of Wonder
Still a smooth lava rock surface, The Road twists and turns for 160 miles right through the Smoking Land. While The Road itself is safe, the various volcanic dangers are very deadly, and can happen without much warning.
The ruins found here are all very strange looking and, amazingly, intact. Not a trace of damage from the area around them can be found. They radiate both magical and divine energy. Some of them glow in the dark. A few emit humming sounds of various tones.
None of these ruins are less than 100 yards from The Road, and all are dangerous to get to. Once a traveler does get to one, almost anything could happen.
