Bearfolk
The Bearfolk are nice folks who are mostly farmers and beekeepers. Despite their large and intimidating looks, they are extremely friendly and enjoy visitors. Indeed, they seldom accept pay for food or lodging. They enjoy all forma of entertainment, so anyone who can sing, dance, or act, is especially welcome.
These people have no magical abilities, so they will usually trade very well for a mage to work a spell or two to aid or improve their lives. On the other hand, they do not tolerate thieves at all, and deal harshly with them.
This is a very well forested land with small areas cleared for farms. Streams crisscross it and it is mostly flat to gently hilly. The Lower portion of a large lake is found in the north. The road curves through here for 100 miles. It is made of wood chips.
