The Eyes Have It: The Eye Beast Of Grixx
If you are an adventurer on FantasyEarth 753-D, you’ve heard of the Eye Beast of Grixx. You know that legend and even a few surviving eye witnesses tell how the Triad of Evil used their dying words to create an enormous eyeball with 100 tentacles and a mouth, then gave it the order to let no intelligent humanoids ever retake their country. Then they died.
To this day, the vast and fertile country of Grixx is a certain death to those humanoids insane enough to pass the border. The Eye Beast is swift and deadly.
But…
The Triad of Evil only said “intelligent HUMANOIDS”. Any intelligent creature with a non-humanoid form may safely enter and live in peace, which they did in huge numbers. Not only do they live in peace, but the Eye Beast seems to care for them and protect them.
Which is another reason why any plan to kill the Eye Beast and take over Grixx is doomed to fail.
